A character filled historical backdrop, with multiple truly unique locations and venues for your ceremony and reception.

The Caboolture Historical Village has grown from a concept imagined by our local Caboolture Historical Society to a realised and truly unique historical experience over the last fifty years. The village houses 70 buildings with over 140,000 artifacts throughout and operates as a non-profit primarily with the help of volunteers. Activities and events at the village raise funds to maintain and improve the services we provide and the preservation of the local history displayed within.

The village has multiple venue options for both your wedding ceremony and/or your recpetion. If your looking for that rustic feel, some old world charm or a little country feel we are overflowing with just that!

St. Lawrence Chapel - This quaint little chapel, well over 100 years old, seats 60-70 people. Stained glass windows and traditional Pews make it a beautiful place for a ceremony.

Village Grounds - There are many suitable places for a ceremony within the grounds of the village. Our Bush Chapel is just one of those locations.

Stanmore Hall - An old community hall with rustic charm, high ceilings and a stage area. The Hall has seating and tables for 100. Full amenities and kitchen area.

Village Hotel - The Hotel is an example of a typical Australian Bush Pub complete with all its casual charm. The Hotel veranda will seat approximately 100 people depending on the style of function.

Railway Carriage - A unique venue for smaller gatherings with a built in bar and service area. The deck is a wonderful space to enjoy and mingle with guests. A great place for pre ceremony drinks.

Greg Chippendale Function Room - The Function Room is ideal for meetings or smaller gatherings. Centrally located in the village and equipped with its own kitchen area, air conditioning and close to amenities.

There are many locations around the Village grounds, which are a photographer’s best kept secret. We also offer a few special extra options you won't find anywhere else, with our village train being something different your guests won't forget!
