Hey, I'm Mikaela. I grew up in sunny Central Queensland and, at the ripe old age of 18, I eagerly packed my bags and crossed the QLD border—something I’d been dreaming of forever. Back then, I’d have told you I just wanted to spread my wings, but truthfully? I found so much more. I fell in love with the people, the wild beauty of the Northern Rivers, and the feeling of belonging here. I met my now-husband Thomas, built an incredible community, and have spent almost a decade capturing love stories and life’s magic through my lens. It’s home—wouldn’t have it any other way.
